The fast-growing, show-stopping Hosta 'Fortunei'-type plant makes a nice 3' wide clump of medium-green leaves, highlighted by a large white center. In late summer, Hosta 'Silver Lode' becomes viridescent (the center pattern turns light green). The vigorous clumps are topped with 30" scapes of light lavender flowers in midsummer.

Common Name: Hosta. One of the best new blue hostas. A cross between 'Silver Frost' x 'Blue Moon'. Rounded, intense silver blue leaves are thick and seersuckered at maturity. Pest resistant foliage forms a dense, flat-topped mound. Bell-shaped, pale lavender flowers are borne on 22" scapes from mid to late summer.
